Australian Disability Sport is looking for well presented, people with an outgoing nature to join its growing team of ambassadors in Adelaide. No experience necessary although it is useful. All training and on-going support is provided.
The money raised in the cash collection campaigns keeps the organisation going and enables us to distribute funds to organisations which run and manage sport for people with a disability. Australian Disability Sport is completely self-funded and does not receive any government funding.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Australian Disability Sport runs campaigns all year round and offer ongoing work opportunities. All newcomers start in the retail campaign, which involves fundraising in supermarkets, shopping centre’s, street collections and major retail chains.
Working days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and it is required that all ambassadors nominate their working days at least seven days prior to the date, or nominate set working days.
The standard work day is from 9am to 5pm and it is required that once a fundraising agent nominates to work a day this is the time they will be required to work.
All ambassadors are met in the city at 8am each work day and dropped back to the meeting point at the end of the day usually around 6pm.
Australian Disability Sport provides transport to and from all sites, asking team members to meet each morning prior to work. Therefore all equipment is issued daily and collected each night along with all monies collected.
There is opportunity to travel as our teams visit most towns and cities within South Australia and the Northern Territory frequently.
Australian Disability Sport welcome any interested persons who may be looking for full-time or part-time work. This position suits:
